PWP the latest generation of GEISMAR track laying gantries, which has won acclaim in Central Europe

The tests carried out in March 2019 on the first turnout gantries (PWP) were successful. This summer, the Hungarian contractor HOMLOK placed an order for 2 gantries to be able to lay switches and crossings directly from tilting wagons. The gains in terms of safety and productivity will enable them to effectively implement the national track renewal program.


Alstom Foundation to support 29 new projects around the world

On 9th October the contract for the first two giant tunnelling machines for London’s HS2 tunnels has been signed with HS2's Main Works Civils Contractor, Skanska Costain STRABAG JV (SCS JV), marking significant progress on the southern stretch of HS2.

Alstom's MP14 metro enters commercial service in Paris

Alstom's MP14 metro has been put into commercial service on Line 14, between the stations Olympiades and Saint-Lazare, by Valérie Pécresse, President of the Île-de-France Region and of Île-de-France Mobilités, and Catherine Guillouard, CEO of RATP, in the presence of Henri Poupart-Lafarge, Chairman and CEO of Alstom.
