TX Logistik still counting on the Turkish transport market

TX Logistik AG will present its dense European network at Logitrans, the largest transport and logistics trade fair in Eurasia.

TX Logistik still counting on the Turkish transport market

The company's presence at the trade fair from November 15 to 17 in Istanbul underlines the great importance of the Turkish transport market for the rail logistics company, which is part of Mercitalia Logistics (FS Italiane Group) – despite the current generally difficult geopolitical and economic conditions.

TX Logistik already responded to the growing attractiveness of the Southeast European market at an early stage and integrated Turkey into its network. The rail logistics company currently operates an intermodal connection between Istanbul and Curtici three times a week in each direction in cooperation with a traction partner.

In the Romanian border town, there is a connection to the intermodal train that links the Trade Trans Terminal in Curtici with the CTS Container Terminal in Cologne- Niehl. TX Logistik takes the responsibility and controls the entire transport chain on this route. There are currently five round trips per week. Ideally, the transit time for the entire route between Cologne and Istanbul is seven days.

The NiKRASA handling system also has an important role for the Turkish market. In Turkey, mainly non-craneable trailers are in circulation, which can be loaded onto the rail quickly and easily with the help of NiKRASA. Therefore, TX Logistik wants to inform specifically about the newly designed version 3.0 at Logitrans in Istanbul, which no longer requires a terminal ramp, is stackable and has been further optimised for the rail transport of mega-trailers.

TX Logistik AG can be found with its range of products and services at Logitrans on the joint booth German Pavilion 3/322 which is initiated by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
