Stadler and Austin Transit Partnership (ATP) announced a contract for the design of 21 state-of-the-art light rail vehicles, with options for an additional 19 trains.

Stadler is set to build the vehicles at its Salt Lake City manufacturing site – proudly built in Utah for Utah.

The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) has awarded Stadler the contract to equip its rail network with a new, modern train control system.

To support and strengthen this development, the Board of Directors has decided to separate the US location from the Swiss division as of January 1, 2025, creating its own North America division.

Stadler and Trinity Metro signed a contract for four additional Stadler DMU FLIRT vehicles. The trains will join an existing Stadler DMU FLIRT fleet, which has successfully been in operation in Fort Worth since 2019.
