PSŽ ORDERS TWO EFFISHUNTER 1000 LOCOMOTIVES FROM CZ LOKO
PSŽ and CZ LOKO signed a contract at the CZ LOKO plant in Jihlava, where the locomotives are manufactured. The locomotives will be delivered at the beginning of 2025.
The Slovak company Prvá Slovenská železničná (PSŽ) will expand its fleet by two EffiShunter 1000 locomotives. The purchase contract was signed by representatives of both companies at the CZ LOKO plant in Jihlava, where the locomotives are manufactured. PSŽ also transports goods in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Through interoperable locomotives and one licence in these four EU countries, it has simplified and accelerated transports without switching locomotives at border stations. The Slovak freight carrier already has two other CZ LOKO vehicles in its fleet, an EffiLiner 1600 diesel locomotive and an EffiLiner 3000 electric locomotive, which can run under the 3 kV DC and 25 kV AC current systems. www.czloko.com
