Chile’s Santiago–Batuco and Alameda–Melipilla lines will boost connectivity for 92 million passengers annually with advanced engineering and mobility solutions.

The new section is expected to be used by 105,000 passengers daily, of whom 52,000 will be new subway users, which will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 10,000 tonnes annually.

This new north-south railway line connects the centre of Ottawa and Riverside South with a branch to Ottawa International Airport.

The proposed Scarborough Subway Extension will bring the TTC’s Line 2 subway service nearly eight kilometres farther into Scarborough.

This important project will shorten travel times and put 227,500 more people within walking distance of transit.
