TX Logistik AB has expanded its network in Sweden by launching an intermodal connection between Gothenburg, Eskilstuna, and Umeå.

TX Logistik AG will present its dense European network at Logitrans, the largest transport and logistics trade fair in Eurasia.

TX Logistik has succeeded in shifting numerous waste transports from road to rail, especially on routes of the European North-South corridor.

With the acquisition, TX Logistik becomes the second largest rail freight carrier in Germany.

TX Logistik AG has ordered a further 115 double pocket wagons of the T3000 type for intermodal transport. The first wagons are scheduled to be delivered in late summer of this year.

Starting from 2nd May, four round trips per week with 32 loading units per train will be put on the tracks.

TX Logistik AB, the Swedish subsidiary of the German TX Logistik AG, will be operating in Denmark and Sweden with a new Single Safety Certificate. In the successful re-certification, the European Union Agency for Railways confirmed to the company, which belongs to Mercitalia Logistics, that it fulfils all legal requirements for safe railway operations in both countries.

TX Logistik AG, which is part of Mercitalia Logistics (FS Italiane Group), intends to further expand its intermodal rail freight transport services between Istanbul and Cologne.

TX Logistik AG (Mercitalia Group) will integrate the deep-water port of Jade-Weser-Port Wilhelmshaven into its network. The plan is to start in seaport hinterland traffic from mid-January 2023 with a new connection between Wilhelmshaven and southern Germany.

TX Logistik AG (Mercitalia Group) has now presented the third generation of its NiKRASA technology. The solution, which also allows non-craneable semi-trailers to be easily loaded onto rail, has been improved once again and successfully tested in advance in rail and terminal operations.
