Talgo S.A., established in 1942 and headquartered in Madrid, Spain, is a renowned manufacturer of intercity, standard, and high-speed passenger trains. Visitors will board Talgo 230, the intercity train the company manufactures for the Danish operator DSB. This is the first time in the history of the event that a full rail coach will be presented inside the building where the event takes place.
The German operator will use the train designed and manufactured by Talgo, ICE L, to foster the decarbonization of mobility in central Europe with long-distance services, thanks to the vehicle’s lighter weight and lower energy consumption.
Today, the national railway company of Egypt ENR (Egyptian National Railways) has awarded Talgo with a new contract for the manufacturing of passenger trains.
